The United Nations Civil Society Conference is coming up soon, August 26-28. We are looking forward to meeting like-minded people from all over the world who are focused on sustainability and social equity. Our organization will be hosting an interactive video booth with past and present interns as well as local business owners, along with two workshops. The two workshops P3 is hosting are both taking place on Monday, August 26.
The first of the two is session 1A from 12:00 PM-1:15 PM in room 155F and is titled “Building Resilient Neighborhoods Through Business Sustainability Innovations.” This workshop features Devin Thorpe of Your Mark on the World, Lindsay Kneuven of Pluralsight, Steven Bergstrom of Intermountain Healthcare, and Kimmy Paluch of Beta Boom.
The second session 1B is from 5:00 PM-6:15pm in room 255A and is titled “Tapping the Power of Women to Make a Better World through Business” and features Kelly Lake of LUX Catering and Events, Sara Jones of Women Tech Council, Julietta Hernandez of Matrix Spa and Massage, and Michaela Lemen of the University of Utah.
